Using and taking care of your Smitten

For your Smitten to work properly - it needs to be used correctly and also cleaned. 

Using your Smitten

Use your Smitten by wetting it with water inserting our hand into the mitten. You then gently wipe your face to lift off any dirt, etc.  Don't rub your skin - let the fibres move across your skin for an effective clean.

To check that all makeup, etc has been removed from your skin, you can turn your Smitten round, and wipe your skin again. 

Cleaning your Smitten

Your Smitten can be handwashed or machine washed.

Handwashing

To hand wash your Smitten, we recommend using a good quality, neutral bar soap (such as our glycerine bar soaps) and we recommend washing your Smitten after each use. Once it has been washed clean, hang it up to dry in a well ventilated, sunny area.

Machine washing

Smittens can easily be machine washed. As we don't all machine wash everyday we suggest getting more than one Smitten, so while one is in the wash, you can sue the other one. The Trio Pack works well for this - you can have one cleaned and ready to use, one in the wash and one on the washline.
